杜梦堂DUMONTEIL很高兴与您分享由翁纪军和文森·漆(Vincent CAZENEUVE)参展的「K11 工艺卧游」,展览由K11 Craft & Guild Foundation策划,邀请观众通过14件远渡重洋归来的古董珍品,中、法艺术家以大漆为媒介的当代艺术创作,以及沉浸式数字技术,共同体验「黑漆描金」跨越时代的永恒之美。“描金”是拥有2000多年历史的漆器工艺,在明、清时期「黑漆描金」被发挥到极致,成就了17至18世纪风靡欧洲的“中国风(Chinoiserie)”。此次展览以“传统”与“当代”、“日常”与“艺术”为切入点,给予不同时代的作品同等的欣赏与尊重,同时展现了当代艺术家对漆艺的传承与创新。DUMONTEIL is delighted to share with you WENG Jijun and Vincent CAZENEUVE's participation in K11 Voyage de Savoir-Faire, a celebration of "black lacquerware with gold decoration", curated by the K11 Craft & Guild Foundation. The exhibition invites the viewers to experience the everlasting beauty of this savoir-faire through 14 antique treasures, contemporary lacquer creations by Chinese and French artists, and immersive digital technology."Gold leaf gilding is a lacquer technique with a history of more than 2,000 years, which reached its peak during the Ming and Qing dynasties, leading to the "Chinoiserie" that took Europe by storm in the 17th and 18th centuries. Focusing on the "traditional" and the contemporary, the "quotidian" and the "art", the exhibition gives equal appreciation and respect to works from different eras while showcasing the research and innovation of contemporary artists in the medium of lacquer.

文森·漆的作品结合了他对中国漆器历史和传统手工艺的长期研究,以及他从日常生活和带有时光印记的物件中所获得的灵感。三联幅《无题》(2013)以“材料作画”,展现了苎麻的质感、反复髹涂、打磨呈现的纹理,融入了古董家具的斑驳,以及被描金工艺点亮的抽象符号,最终呈现出丰富的层次和抽象的美感。Vincent Cazeneuve's work combines his long-standing research into the history and traditional craftsmanship of Chinese lacquer with the inspiration he draws from everyday life and objects bearing the marks of time. The triptych Untitled (2013) incorporates interesting textures realized by ramie fabric and lacquer painting techniques, achieving effects such as ageing traces of antique furniture, and a few inexplicable symbols highlighted by the gold-leaf gilding process, resulting in a richly layered texture and an abstract aesthetic.

在翁纪军的创作中,内容、形式和创作过程三者密不可分,共同缔造最为本质的视觉语言。装置《矗 2018》由三根脱胎立柱组成,融合了大漆创作的各个阶段——髹涂、裱布、刮灰、打磨、贴箔、抛光等——所特有的肌理。在各色金属箔的点缀下,整体造型所呈现的力量和厚重与轻盈的脱胎质地形成了强烈的反差。In Weng Jijun's work, content, form and process are inextricably interwoven, collectively exploring the most essential in visual language. The installation Standing 2018 consists of three dry lacquer columns that combine the texture feelings unique to varied stages of lacquer creation — painting, mounting ramie, scraping, polishing, metal leafing, etc. Embellished with metal leaves in various colours, the grandeur and solidity of the overall shape contrast sharply with the lightness of bodiless lacquer.
